Roslyn's family portrait series is accompanied by a series of botanical drawings. The plant subjects in the series are selected based on stories that her relatives tell her about their life and her own experiences of botanicals and family.
Her plant subjects are first hand drawn and then digitized. She often combines elements of hand drawn images and digital coloring in the development of her work. Some of the color themes have cultural subtext such as the Gardenias in Haint Blue to the left.
